IGCSE Physics, Chemistry & Biology Tutor in Dubai
IGCSE Physics, Chemistry and Biology reward different habits. Physics is about method and units, Chemistry is about precise recall plus calculation, and Biology is about exact wording. Tutoring works best when it is built around those differences, and around your board: Cambridge (Physics 0625, Chemistry 0620, Biology 0610) Pearson Edexcel International GCSE (4PH1, 4CH1, 4BI1), AQA GCSE or OxfordAQA International GCSE. Check your own syllabus code with your school before you plan.
How we help
IGCSE Physics
Common problems are unit conversions, rearranging equations, and choosing the right equation from the formula list. We practise a fixed calculation layout (write the data, state the equation, substitute, give the answer with a unit) until it is automatic. We also drill graph reading, circuit questions and the wording of definitions such as power, pressure and the difference between speed and velocity.
IGCSE Chemistry
Marks are lost on balancing equations, mole calculations, and specific tests and observations. We build the core skills first (formulae, equations and the mole), then add organic chemistry, rates of reaction, equilibrium, electrolysis and the periodic table on top of them. Students keep a one-page sheet of tests for gases, cations and anions that they rewrite from memory each week.
IGCSE Biology
Examiners look for specific terms, so vague answers lose marks. We train students to answer in the language of the mark scheme, to describe and explain data, and to handle experiment-design questions. Topics such as enzymes, osmosis and photosynthesis come up in many forms, so we practise them as families of questions, not single facts.
Practical and alternative-to-practical papers
Depending on your board and entry, practical skills are examined either in a practical test or in a written alternative paper. We rehearse planning an investigation, naming variables, tables, graphs and evaluation, using the paper type your school has entered you for.
Combined or separate sciences
Some schools enter students for separate sciences, others for combined or co-ordinated science. Tell us which entry you have so we cover the right content and do not spend time on topics that are not examined.
Schools our students come from
Our students study at many of Dubai’s leading schools, following the IGCSE, A Level and IB Diploma programmes. We are an independent tutoring service and are not affiliated with any school.
What to expect
- Weeks 1-2: diagnostic by topic, fix the calculation and vocabulary basics.
- Weeks 3-5: weakest units, with short topic questions after each session.
- Weeks 6-7: mixed topic questions, then timed papers.
- Week 8: error-log review, command words and exam-day routine.
Your tutors
Experienced tutors
UndoubtME has a team of expert tutors who are well versed with the curriculum and know how to help students improve their results. Our tutors bring more than 14 years of teaching experience. Rohit Vachhani is our Head of Academics for Mathematics and Physics and a Chief Mentor. Vidhi Shah is our Head of Academics for Chemistry and Biology and a Chief Mentor. Dr Ashwarya Tiwari also teaches Biology. Both also train our other tutors, helping them bridge gaps and deliver the best every child deserves. Other tutors on our team are matched to students after the consultation.
